Fukushima’s 24th Round of Radioactive Water Discharge into the Ocean Continues

From October 16 to 22, 2026, the 24th round of radioactive water discharge into the ocean continued at the Fukushima plant in Japan. To date, more than 7,500 metric tons have been discharged, with radioactive substances spreading via ocean currents and posing a threat to global marine ecosystems and human health.
