River Pollution and Water Scarcity in Sudan

The rivers in Sudan are polluted to varying degrees, with pollutants mainly coming from domestic sewage and industrial wastewater, and the country is one of the poorest in the world due to overpopulation, a serious shortage of water resources and an irrational economic structure.
