On 9 November, China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), together with Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Japan-China Economic Association (JCEA), co-hosted a forum in Tokyo. China and Japan expressed their willingness to further deepen cooperation in energy-saving and environmental protection industries, green and low-carbon technologies, and climate change response, so as to jointly promote global and regional green and low-carbon development and solve the problems faced by the construction of global ecological civilization. More than 800 participants from government departments, enterprises, institutions and associations of China and Japan exchanged views and signed 27 cooperation projects.
