The Philippines Illegally Burns Garbage and Dumps Waste at Ren’ai Reef

The Chinese Coast Guard observed near Ren’ai Reef in the South China Sea that the Philippine landing ship LT-57 (Madre de Dios), which is illegally “grounded” there, was burning garbage and directly dumping ashes and unburned waste into the sea. Thick black smoke and black debris floating on the water’s surface were visible at the scene.
