Extreme U.S. Policies Threaten Marine Conservation

Project 2025: Proposed by the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank in the United States, Project 2025 advocates the abolition of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the elimination of the “30×30” marine conservation goal (to protect 30% of the sea area), and the revision of the Marine Mammal Protection Act, among others.
