On October 29, Thailand’s National Parks and Wildlife Conservation Office announced that it would suspend tourism and camping services in 11 national parks from November 1, 2024, with varying closure times. The move is aimed at restoring natural ecosystems and ensuring the safety of visitors during the monsoon season. For example, the closure period is from November 1 to December 15 for the Kuttaru Island, Lungnang Forest Natural Trail and Camping Area in the Gulf of Siam National Park in Pasir Ris Province.
