A New Journey of Ecological Protection and Restoration

On November 6, China’s Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) released the National Ecological Protection and Restoration Bulletin 2024 at the opening ceremony of the 2024 East Asian Seas Conference and Xiamen International Ocean Week, which is the first time that China’s ecological protection and restoration work has been comprehensively reflected in the form of a bulletin. This is the first time that China has comprehensively reflected its ecological protection and restoration work in the form of a bulletin. The bulletin shows that China’s “four pillars and eight pillars” ecological protection and restoration system has been continuously improved, and that more than 90% of China’s typical ecosystems as well as more than 300 kinds of rare and endangered wildlife and plants have been effectively protected.
