China’s Environment Plays “Enhancement Song” in 2024

A press conference held by China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment on October 27 revealed that in the first three quarters of 2024, China’s ambient air quality and surface water environmental quality generally continued to improve. National 339 prefecture-level and above city 6 main pollutant indicators “four down two flat”, the national 339 prefecture-level and above city average air quality good days proportion of 85.8%, up 1.6 percentage points; national surface water assessment section, water quality is good (Ⅰ – Ⅲ) section proportion of 88.5%, up 1.4 percentage points; the proportion of poor V cross sections, the proportion of poor V cross sections, the proportion of the surface water quality of 88.5%, up 1.4 percentage points; the proportion of poor V cross sections, the proportion of the surface water quality of the environment, the proportion of the surface water quality of the environment.
