China-Pakistan cooperation: contributing to the guardianship of the Amazon rainforest

China’s Earth resource satellites in cooperation with Brazil provide important data support for Brazil’s monitoring of the Amazon rainforest. These satellite data are widely used by Brazilian government agencies, research institutions and private companies, and play a key role in a number of projects to monitor and protect the Amazon rainforest. China-Brazil cooperation highlights the importance of international cooperation in environmental protection and contributes to the protection of the “lungs of the Earth”.
