On December 10, 2024 China-UK Clean Energy Cooperation Forum was successfully held in Manchester, UK. Tang Rui, Consul General of China in Manchester, Bev Krieger, Speaker of Manchester City Council, Zhu Kucheng, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Wuhan People’s Congress, as well as famous enterprises, industry associations, experts and scholars from China and the UK participated in the forum, which was upgraded from “China-UK Hydrogen Energy Cooperation Forum” to “China-UK Clean Energy Cooperation Forum”. The forum was upgraded from “Sino-British Hydrogen Cooperation Forum” to “Sino-British Clean Energy Cooperation Forum”, expanding from focusing on hydrogen energy to covering the whole spectrum of clean energy, aiming to build a broader docking platform for enterprises of both countries.
