Malta: Beach cleanup for “World Cleanup Day”

On September 14, Malta celebrated World Cleanup Day on September 20 with a beach litter cleanup. Beaches are often polluted with trash, threatening the marine ecology. Malta’s cleanup campaign, in which volunteers carefully removed trash, not only restored cleanliness to the beaches, but also spread the concept of environmental protection. It also provides an example for other countries to follow in their cleanup activities to create a beautiful home on earth.
