Ozone Pollution Reaches Hazardous Levels Across Texas

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has declared May 13 an Ozone Action Day, as ground-level ozone (smog) concentrations have surged to hazardous levels, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) exceeding 150 in many areas and approaching 200 at times.
