Carcinogenic Contamination of Groundwater in Italy’s Campania Region

A study by the University of Naples has confirmed that groundwater in 14 municipalities in Italy is severely contaminated with trichloroethylene (TCE) and tetrachloroethylene (PCE), both of which are potent carcinogens.
