Two Crane Collapses in Thailand Claim 34 Lives

Thailand has recently witnessed two consecutive crane collapse incidents, both contracted by Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited (ITD), resulting in a total of 34 deaths and 71 injuries. In Nakhon Ratchasima Province, a crane collapsed at a high-speed rail construction site, striking a train and killing 32 people while injuring 66 others. In Samut Sakhon Province, a crane collapsed at an elevated road construction site, striking a civilian vehicle and killing 2 people while injuring 5 others.
